Our Proven Process Produces Results
1. SELECTING
Selecting the right kind with Beefmasters’ 6 Essentials: disposition, fertility, weight, conformation, milk production and hardiness. Plus Performance!
2. BREEDING
We use A.I. sires and herd bulls with proven genetics, marketability and proven EPDs on $Terminal and $Maternal.
3. DELIVERING
Heterosis (hybrid vigor) is one thing Beefmaster calves have. When calving season arrives, seeing the newborn babies hit the ground running is always a joy.
4. RAISING
We only raise cattle that are naturally healthy and low maintenance. We select for cowherd efficiency; any animal observed with a soundness or production problem is culled.
5. TESTING
We require the annual production of every Beefmaster cow and the performance of every calf raised through yearling age to be reported in BBU’s Whole Herd Reporting.
